Exhibition and selection of documents on Fair Trade
As part of the School of Economics' "Ecoles de commerce équitable" label, the EcoDevDoc documentation centre presents the exhibition "Artisanat et commerce équitable".
You are all invited to the vernissage which will take place on Thursday 13 January from 12.30 pm.
The exhibition is the testimony of a project set up by the Association des Villageois de Ndêm. The region having been heavily affected by the aridification of the land, the Senegalese NGO has developed new socio-economic sectors, notably fair trade. These initiatives have revived local employment, offering new perspectives and sources of income for the men and women of the region.
The "Ecoles de commerce équitable" label aims to highlight the commitment of the schools and to support them in the actions they carry out. The aim of this label is, among other things, to raise awareness of fair trade and ethical consumption. The labelling project is led by four students from the School of Economics: Estelle Arnaud, Candice Boiteau, Myrtille Brauge and Elodie Duteilh.
On this occasion, we have made a selection of documents on the subject.
